How Did We Survive?

How Did We Survive?

Observations of a Middle-Aged Dragon with a Tattoo:

How did we survive these things: In short we GOT DIRTY. We built things out of discarded boxes, etc, we found around home, go-carts, boats, came to life. WE USED IMAGINATION and it didn’t come out of a box and wasn’t always brand new. We; God forbid; invented games with sticks and balls and although we knew about it, no one EVER lost an eye! We broke bones, got scratches, gravel rashes when we fell-down, ran into trees and bushes, we got hurt. Our parents told us it served us right for acting like an idiot. WE WERE ALLOWED to make mistakes. WE learnt THAT DOING STUPID THINGS HAD CONSEQUENCES. It limited the number of dumb and dumber things we did when we got older. If we did get hurt, we didn’t blame anyone else. There were no lawsuits where people sued someone else. HOW DID WE SURVIVE!

Inspiring words for women kicking-ass through the generations

Inspiring words for women kicking-ass through the generations

Observations of a Middle-Aged Dragon with a Tattoo:

She doesn't have to choose between being gentle or fierce. Both exist in Nature and both exist in her. That's okay. She'll know when to nourish them both and when applicable; use each unapologetically. Steve Maraboli

How sad does your life have to be?

How sad does your life have to be?

Observations of a Middle-Aged Tattoo:

SO I ASK AGAIN, how sad does your life have to be? Just because you feel bad, sad, jealous, or put quite simply you’re a dickhead; it doesn’t give you any right. ONLY until you can go out there and produce something better; maybe then you can make a small comment. Dare you to… you won't because you're gutless. Oh and by the way here are some other women at work: All top of their chosen field. What are you top of?

Changes we didn't realise had passed us by

Changes we didn't realise had passed us by

Observations of a Middle Aged Dragon with a Tattoo:

Many pieces of tech have been killed off: The smart phone, particularly has been reponsible for the demise of many older tech devices. Even the Ipod has been superseded by the smart phone. While streaming and downloading, have all but killed off the rest (some aren’t even that old: like the Ipod)

Women in their Place: REALLY

Women in their Place: REALLY

Obvservation of a Middle-Aged Dragon with a Tattoo:

EMPOWERING women by using terms that would usually sell us short. Turning phrases ON THEIR HEAD that give misogyny and chauvinism influence. Resulting in powerful statements that embrace and build women power. WORK A PHRASE OUT THAT defines you as a empowered WOMAN.

My Waxing Technician has OCD

My Waxing Technician has OCD

Observations of a Middle-Aged Dragon with a Tattoo:

She is a fine waxing technician, (is that what we call them). However, she may be a little too zealous when it comes to my nether region. She waxes the same area several times (especially the lips) and then she brings out the big guns…. They are so painful… but small; the big guns are the dreaded tweezers.

'Cause you're beautiful!

'Cause you're beautiful!

Observations of a Middle-Aged Dragon with a Tattoo:

Beautiful can be defined many ways, find your OWN definition. Don't forget you can use the whole box of crayons or the whole dictionary. It's up to you.

What are we being conned over now? Who will be laughing at our gullibility in 20 years!!??

What are we being conned over now? Who will be laughing at our gullibility in 20 years!!??

Observations of a Middle-Aged Dragon with a Tattoo

You may laugh because we seem so much “wiser” now! And wonder how could previous generations have been so gullible? The question being will people be laughing at us for being so gullible in 20 to 30 years time.

Happy Valentine's Day - Make It Your Own

Happy Valentine's Day - Make It Your Own

The point being, love isn’t to be found and proven by just one day. It should be found in everyday we share with someone who we enjoy being with regardless.
